Aeonium tabuliforme 'Hime Meikyou'
A new Japanese form, "Hime" meaning cute. Differs to the normal tabuliforme by only growing to half the size and developing lots of offset pups. So if Aeonium tabuliforme is to big for you then this is the one to get. Looks much better grown in semi shade as its inclined to burn or get brown looking with too much sun. Aeonium tabuliforme is a monocarpic flowerer meaning it will flower within two to three years then die after flowering.
Bright green, hairy leaves.
See our Aeonium Blog for more info and growing tips.
Photo taken in June displayed in a 75 mm pot.
