Echeveria Compton Carousel
This is a truly outstanding variegate. It captures the very essence of why people have variegates. Producing pure white leaf margins with a strong defined blue-green mid stripe. Compton Carousel is not large growing and will grow 12-15cm heads after a year or so.
Compton Carousel is one of the more difficult variegates to grow. It does not like drying out as much as other succulents seem to need. It is also best not to water the plant from overhead. Bottom watering is best. Good ventilation is also desirable to keep this one looking good.
The best results I have seen is where they are grown outside in semi shade in a breezy area. I rate this as a 5 out of 5 for difficulty. It is a challenge but when you succeed you have a real jewel of plant.
