It appears almost monstrose but isn’t. Heads can grow to 16cm wide and high, generally producing a solitary head.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt gets extremely crinkly and wart like growths on the outer edges of it’s leaves, displaying pink to grey with a touch of orange.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen plants are young they generally have straight leaf margins. By year two they start to develop the crinkled \/ wavy margins and by year 3 the wavy margins are well pronounced.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEcehveria Madiba has turned out to be reasonably easy to grow. Originally we tried importing some young plants which died. It was later bought in Japan as Echeveria Pink Lips and again later in Korea as Echeveria Jaxti. When grown more recently I realised these two countries had renamed it after getting it from Europe originally.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt does take 2-3 years for this plant to develop the amazing unique look of crinkly, warty leaves.
